What I enjoy most is the point where architecture meets reality: latency budgets, failure modes, and the trade-offs a team can actually live with. I like clean design, measurable performance and teams that ship things people use.
I’ve led teams of three to seven engineers and I’m equally happy writing the code myself. Go has been my main language since 2017; before that, Java and C++.
My first published papers, back in 1997, were in computational physics, written together with my father.
Away from the keyboard: nature, yoga, theatre, music, and time with my family.
